Waterloo WL-14L TR Ladder-Braced Parlor Guitar w/ Truss Rod Option ca. 2015 – Jet Black

On consignment we have a used, ca. 2015 Waterloo WL-14L TR Ladder-Braced Parlor with Truss Rod Option and OHSC in solid good, near very good condition. Handmade in Austin, TX by the good folks at Collings Guitars, the WL-14 is the flagship model of the Waterloo guitar line and the inspiration that started it all. This guitar has a K + K Pure Mini acoustic guitar pickup installed, weighs 3# 6oz. and is currently set up with Daddario EJ-10 10-47 80/20 bronze strings with an action (12th fret crown of fret to bottom of E-string) of 1.9mm. This guitar has a prominent-V type vintage neck, is super comfy and fun to play, and has a very warm, balanced and vintage sounding ladder braced tone.

Condition– in as stated good condition, near very good condition, a one owner guitar that has seen some play time but no abuse. The rosewood fingerboard shows some lanolin from use, the frets show small wear in the first position, 90+%, no fret wear up the board. The back of the neck is clean, no ring rash. The Jet Black finish looks great, but you will see some small dings on the top, none through the finish (see photos) and some light scratching and swirls from use and polishing cloths. These tend to look worse when photographed as they are flooded with light to be clear that you can see these. Some light scratches on the side, but pretty clean. The back of the guitar is pretty clean, as well, but does show light use. The headstock shows some light scratches (see photo). The original case is also in good condition and is odor free. Overall a satisfying condition on this guitar, light use but no abuse, and very stunning to look at. This is a really nice used guitar.
