Condition– solid very good, arguably near excellent condition. 100% stock. No nicks, no dings, no abuse. Light scratching on the pickguard. Very light wear to the hardware. Frets and fingerboard in excellent condition. Electronics work as they should. The Bigsby loves the 11 set up, but there is plenty of room to set this guitar up in other ways if you so desire. The silver sparkle is awesome and has subtle hue changes in different kinds of light, will have an amazing presence on a stage under lights. The finished wood does the same, this is a stunning guitar. Part of a collection, very lightly used, never gigged, the condition satisfies. The case shows a little wear, but is in solid good condition.

Specs (from the web)– “Like all Reverend Guitars, the Tricky Gomez LE features Korina wood as used on the sides, back and on the center block.

The three piece Korina neck has a medium oval profile, with the nutwidth measuring 1.656″ and a radius of 12″. It is topped by a rosewood fretboard with 22 medium jumbo frets running along its 24.75″ scale length. The headstock features Reverend’s popular Strat-like 6 locking tuners on the top side shape, and it houses the dual action truss rod access.

A major difference between the Tricky Gomez and the Manta Ray is the use of Revtron humbucking pickups. This allows for a more “twang” friendly retro-tone that matches the pawnshop prize looks of the instrument. Essential controls are provided, including a 3-way pickup selector, volume knob, tone knob and Reverend’s popular “bass contour” knob.

Other hardware include a Bigsby B-70 Tremolo, roller bridge and pin-lock tuners. Reverend Guitars summarized the guitar by saying: “We took the Manta Ray platform and tricked it out for an offbeat sixties look, but with modern features and build quality.” “
