On consignment (sorry, no trades considered) we have a very special one here, a 1970-71 Gibson SG Standard with stock Maestro Lyre Vibrato and OHSC in walnut finish. Pick up covers missing, but stock electronics. Currently has some kind of strap lock posts on it, the original strap buttons are missing, but otherwise this is a stock guitar in good knocking on very good condition, pretty clean for a 53sh year old guitar, shows some good honest wear from use and some age, for sure. Collectible, yet playable as well, take a good look at the photos. No neck break. No body breaks. No abuse. Frets are minimum 90%, very healthy on a clean fingerboard, the neck is awesome This guitar plays extremely well with a 12th fret action (top of fret crown to bottom of string) of 1.5mm. Very wieldy at 6#15 oz, this guitar is a blast to play! Overall a very pleasing guitar with a great honest patina, the aesthetic is awesome. The case is in good, honest functional condition, too. No weird smells, no stickers, no blown out latches. This era of Gibsons is really starting to shoot up in value, this guitar is both a solid investment and a fine musical instrument.
