For sale we have a ca. 1950 Epitome Lap Steel w/vintage case and accessories in very good condition. Upgraded tuners, otherwise stock all the way. This ‘Epitome Electric’ lap steel guitar shows the name ‘Federated Teachers Service Corp.’ on its headstock. This instrument was built by the Jackson Guldan Co., Columbus, Ohio, who traded from 1915 to 1971. This one is late 40’s to early 50’s. That company is more famous for its violins. The single pickup is a plain chrome Hershey Bar type, riveted to a metal plate. Ready to go, really fun and good sounding steel with a great vibe. Call us for an appointment- 828.253.2003
