1996 Fender American Standard Jazz Bass- Sunburst

For your consideration we have a 1996 Fender American Standard Jazz Bass in Sunburst w/OHSC in a solid players condition. From the estate of an active musician, this one has seen some action, but plenty more notes left. USA made, and in our opinion, from a very good stretch in Fender history. Currently set with GHS 105 half flats with a 12th fret (bottom of E string top of fret crown) action of 1.65mm. Weighs in at a wieldy 9# 5oz. Other than the strap buttons, this one is stock. Condition– this bass is in a solid, fair players condition. Some finish failure/wear to the front, top and back of headstock. Honest finish wear to the body, dings, swirls and the like. Machine heads are clean and work well, as is the bridge and control plate/knobs. Electronics work well. Pretty clean frets, 90%. Clean rosewood fingerboard. Back on neck has some small, but not aggravating dings and such, but no ring rash. The lower strap button was broken, screw left in, another mounted beside it. The case does serve this bass ok, but has damage, check out the photos. Overall though, a very solid unit ready to be a bass machine at a good deal.
