ON HOLD- For sale we have a 1995 Collings OM2H acoustic guitar with non original hard shell case and after market K&K Pure Mini pickup. An early example of this guitar, it is in good condition, solid “players condition” as it has seen many gigs, please read below. Freshly set up with DR Rare .12 strings with a .06″ (12th fret, bottom of string to top of fret) action, and is ready to go. Truly a great player, with a robust and clear tone, a fine guitar. Condition– this guitar is in good, players condition. This was not a case queen and has been owned by working musicians for decades. No abuse, no repairs, but does show lots of signs of use, lots of honest finish wear. The top finish shows dulling and wear points, some small dings and scratches. The back has a small bit of rash. The sides show light scratching. Strap button installed. Finish wear around the heal. Lots of stand rash at the back of the neck, and dings around the volute. Lots of dings on the top of the headstock. Some fret wear in the lower frets, but pretty moderate. clean fingerboard. No buzzes. Wear to the sides of the neck, but no ring rash. Back of neck is pretty clean. The tuners work well, truss rod healthy. Healthy bridge, plenty of height left on the saddle, healthy neck set. The binding is good. The K&K pickup works as it should, and sounds great. No preamp, no battery. The case is a lightly used aftermarket case branded for Larrivee, clean, no smells. Overall player condition, and a great guitar. Sonically, both acoustic and plugged in, a head turner. Awesome, clean, even and punchy. This is a Collings for somebody who wants to play the heck out of one of these.
