Description

For your consideration we have a 1991 Gibson Les Paul Standard in Heritage Cherry Sunburst w/OHSC. This guitar is in fair to good condition, really a solid “player” condition, it came from the estate of a pro player, and plays and sounds awesome for it. Weighs in at 9# 4oz. A very comfortable slim 60s type of neck. Freshly dialed with DR Pure Blues .10’s, with a 12th fret string action (from top of fret crown to bottom of string) of about .7mm. Ready to rip, plenty of room either way to set this up how you wish. We think this guitar offers the chance to get into a really solid USA Les Paul without the crazy price tag, call for more details or appointment, 828-253-2003.

Condition– as stated, a fair to good “player” condition. Lots of signs of use, but no abuse.  Plenty of small ings, scratches, natural wear. “Mid-level relic” in that world? No crazy buckle rash. No cracks. No repairs.  A ding on the back of the neck, but no ring rash. Frets show some wear, dominantly in the first and second positions, but are good at 90%, thefrets play well. The rosewood finger board is clean, no divets.  The tuners have been replaced with Grovers. Replaced input jack plate, but original wire harness. The pickups a 490R in the neck position (7.81 output) and a 498T in the bridge (13.15 output) appear to be original, we do not have the original covers. The bezel for the neck pickup has a break in it. We do not have the pick guard. The bridge is aftermarket, marked Germany and has carbon saddles. The original case does serve to protect and store this guitar, gut has severe latch and hinge damage, the lid just comes off after unlatching, but no weird smells.
