On consignment (sorry no trades) we have a early 1955 Grestch 6014 Corsair 16 archtop guitar with a DeArmond guitar mic pick up and bag. Overall good condition, set with .12’s, maintained, plays and sounds great. The DeArmond pick up itself is the stuff of legends , very sought after, has been professionally restored, works great and sounds fantastic. 16″ lower bout, 12″ upper bout. 3.5″ deep body, total length 43″, rock maple body and neck, spruce top, rosewood fretboard, bone nut. 5# 8oz.
This guitar is original, but is missing the pickguard, and has tons of vintage patina, small scratches and lacquer crazing, and looks the part, has an awesome honest look to it. Frets 90%, 12th fret action (top of fret crown, bottom of string) of 1mm. This guitar is ready to go, has a great playability, plugs in like a vintage dream, and is just super fun and quite affordable Brooklyn era Gretsch. Currently in a gig bag, we do not have a case for it, but are working on that, so local pickup only.
